Sell the outcome, not the features.
The problem with your landing page is that it tells users what the product does. “Real-time sync”, “AI-powered scheduling”, “Built for teams”, it all sounds boring af, the copy is accurate but the visitor still has to work out why any of it matters to them.
Don’t sell the features, sell the outcome. A visitor should leave knowing what the product does and what gets better in their life or business once they use it.
I turned that rule into a skill called sell-the-outcome (opens in a new tab). Point your coding agent at a landing page and it comes back with the copy that isn’t selling, and a rewrite for each piece.
Install
npx skills add anuarshaidenov/skills --skill sell-the-outcome
Then ask your agent to make the landing page sell better, or to review the hero copy. The skill picks up requests like that on its own.
I’m a big fan of Astro (opens in a new tab), so I work a lot with landing pages. I believe they are the best way to convert visitors into customers.
This skill started off as a one-off prompt for auditing a landing page for Cushn (opens in a new tab) and ended up helping me rewrite a lot of landing pages for my clients. I realized it was a skill that could be useful to other developers, so I packaged it up and made it available for anyone to use.
